Save the Mesa Meeting - June 17, 2006

This is going to be a fun meeting. You will have an opportunity to hear from the three STM scholarship winners. They are all from Nipomo High School and are eager to share with you a bit about the essays they wrote and what they learned on their road to this scholarship. An example of the titles of one of the essays is: "Over the Willow and Through the Woodlands."

At this meeting, it is also time to make our awards for our Matching Funds Program. Herb Kandell for the Land Conservancy, Kathy Kubiak for the Dana Adobe, and Hans Hansson for Ride Nipomo will be there as recipients on behalf of their groups. We are matching what funds they have been able to raise in the past two and one half months. We will be hearing updates from these groups.

Last, but certainly not least, we will hear about the progress on the water pipeline from Bruce Buel, Projects Assistant to the General Manager of the Nipomo Community Services District. Δ
